Life After Being Diagnosed With Dyslexia ft. Jeff Runnels

Jeff Runnels, a native of Mississippi and Memphis area, Jeff graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi in 2013 with a Bachelor's degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with a focus in Marketing with a minor in Campaigns and Elections.

Prior to enrolling at Southern Miss., Jeff began his professional career during his freshman year of college at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College when he was hired as a senior campaign staff on a successful United States Congressional campaign defeating a 21 year incumbent, and electing his candidate to the U.S. House of Representatives at only the age of nineteen.  After the Congressman hired Jeff to work on his Congressional staff once in office, Jeff continued to work for nearly half a decade as a congressional staffer and campaign guru.

Jeff ended his career in politics per the terms of receiving approval to marry his wife, Bliss. In November of 2014, Jeff moved to Nashville without much of a career plan outside of politics. Jeff started waiting tables at O'Charley's in Brentwood, TN.

After obtaining his real estate license, Jeff began listening to books while driving for Uber & Lyft, learning how to better connect with people. Jeff started focusing on meeting his riders and connecting with them with the hopes of his riders needing real estate guidance. After a few weeks of practicing this while learning his way around the city, several of his riders became real estate clients and set the foundation of a solid referral network that served him and his family well for over 4 years.  Most recently, after inventing The Uplift Device in September of 2016, Jeff founded Lexia.Solutions, Inc. in 2018 with Co-Founder Hans Lorei.
