Are My Plans God's Plans?

Updated: Apr 18, 2018

Often times we see people doing things that are profitable to them and looks like they are having a ton of fun while doing it. From the outside looking in, we think to ourselves that we could be doing the same thing and gain extra income while doing so. It may not even be anything that will be of monetary enhancement, like writing a blog, or starting a non-profit. You start doing these things, then get frustrated when things do not seem to be blossoming for you, or come as easy as they seem to be coming for someone else.

Sometimes, we let the spirit of envy overtake us and we try to involve ourselves in things and businesses that God did not have planned for our lives. If God told you to do something, He will see that it is complete and fruitful.

God is not going to tell you to do something and it fail.

God does not work like that. He is not a deceitful God. God is identified as the Beginning and the End, meaning that he will not let you start something that He did not see you finishing.

Be patient and pray to God for your purpose. Our plans are not always God's plans. When we talk to God and wait on His answers, He will reveal to us exactly what he wants us to do here on Earth. When we do what God wants us to do, God will see that it brings us prosperity and will reach the audience that God intends for it to reach. Whatever is placed on your heart to do, do that and do it wholeheartedly, but first, "Commit to the LORD whatever you do, and he will establish your plans." (Proverbs 16:3)
