Some of us have dreams of becoming very prosperous and gaining a lot of life. We have visions of opening various businesses, or starting different organizations, but the question is: are we working in our season of downtime, or just relaxing?
I am a believer that God can perform miracles. We have seen this numerous times in the Bible where his wondrous miracles are recorded. You cannot ask God for something and do nothing while you wait for it to come to pass. You have to work in your seasons and sow seeds in order to reap the benefits God has for you. Seeds you sowed years ago may just now be getting ready to grow. You have to have patience and wait on the Lord. You cannot expect God to work at the snap of your fingers. God wants to see if you are willing to wait on Him.
A man that does not work, does not eat. You have to work towards your dreams in order to see an outcome. When the outcome comes to pass, you will have a sense of accomplishment because you knew what it took to reap the benefit of the blessing you had been praying for.
"Commit to the Lord whatever you do and He will establish your plan" (Proverbs 16:3 NIV).
Whatever we decide to do in life, we should commit it to the Lord. God will make a way for you. He just wants you to do the work. He will set up the audience to receive it, you just have to do the work. He will gather the consumers, you just have to put in the work. You cannot start a project and get discouraged because you think people will not support it or buy into it. What God has for you, is for you, and no one can take away from that. The only person that can destroy that is you, by not having faith that God will establish your plan.
You have to expect rejection. You have to expect the "no's", because they will come. Count every "no" you receive as a blessing because there is a bigger "yes" for you out there. God knows what is best for us, and if you are getting rejected by people, or companies, it is for a reason. Have faith that God has something greater waiting for you. He wants you to remain faithful and steadfast. He wants you to work towards your goals each day. "Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead" (James 2:17 NKJV). You cannot lay in the bed all day waiting for a job to fall in your lap if you are unemployed. You have to take the time to put in applications and visit different businesses in hopes that they are hiring. Faith without works is dead. You can't just plant a flower, never tend to it and expect it to grow. Faith without works is dead. You can't run out of gas and just sit on the side of the road in hopes that you car will magically start back up again. Faith without works is dead.
Whatever you are hoping for in life, work towards it and keep your faith in Jesus. Whatever you do in the Lord's name shall be blessed. Never give up and keep your eye on the promise and the prize. You are closer to your blessing than you know. Do not let the season that seems as though nothing is happening discourage you, because that is when you are closer to your breakthrough than you know.
Xoxo,
Krispin
